Professional with emphasis in child development psychology and attachment theory. I have experience as a research psychologist, preschool teacher and school psychologist.

Strengths in analysis, interpretation and understanding of problems of a social nature, based on diagnoses, psychological tests, evaluation and interpretation at the individual and group level in a systematic way.

Since the pandemic, I have worked virtually with small groups (maximum 10 persons), however I’m planning to use COSP in 2023 in a non virtual way.

Work with Parents to support wellbeing of their children. COSP is part of my Reflective Parenting approach. Online work is part of my practice.

Also trained to do Under 5 work with parent and child. Otherwise, I follow a Narrative Therapy approach and include working with the neurology of the body to achieve regulation of the child. This is informed by my SE Training.

As an Early Years Outreach Worker working within the Nuu-Chah-Nulth Tribal Council’s Child and Youth Services Department, my role focuses on supporting parents and their children by fostering overall health and wellness through education, advocacy, and connection to resources such as therapies and funding opportunities. Drawing on my experience and knowledge, I will utilize the Circle of Security Parenting Program to empower families by strengthening parent-child relationships, building secure attachments, and equipping caregivers with tools to better understand and meet their child’s emotional needs. This approach aligns with my commitment to providing holistic and culturally sensitive support to the families I serve.

I have worked for over 30 years in Early Education with Diverse Learners. I am also a Mom to three teenagers/young adults. I am new facilitator and have provided facilitation to a number of groups virtually. I am working towards the COSP Classroom and hope to share this work with both parents and educators. I am available evenings to work with groups either virtually or in person in my local area. I truly believe in the power of this perspective and how it can support children and caregivers to cultivate secure relationships.
