The Circle of Security Facilitator Training is an intensive intervention-based program that has been influential on many levels to me as a parent and professional.
I first completed the COS parenting training certification. Shortly after I was encouraged to enroll for the COS Facilitator training. This training has greatly inspired, motivated, and equipped me as I continue to grow in my role as a Certified Peer Support worker. I have the opportunity to work with willing individuals in a behavioral health and outpatient treatment center. I offer the COS parenting training to patients who are mandated, court ordered, CYFD cases or anyone willing to join.
The main purpose of COS parenting is to encourage secure attachment and strengthen family units.
I look forward to facilitating in a group or one on one settings. I also look forward to volunteer opportunities where I can facilitate COS parenting for local non – profit agencies that serve the greater Albuquerque area.
